EMISHIKI Brewery
Established in 1892, Emishiki, a name which means “The Joy of the Four Seasons”, focused on creating sake to celebrate the changes of the seasons, and the beauty of nature. Their philosophy of “following the laws of heaven, earth and nature” is apparent in their heavy focus on fresh, local ingredients for the sake. The Emishiki brewery supports and protects the local rice farms and rice variants, and has their own source of water that gives their sake a freshness that few others can match.
